_ Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival – Gokarna Forest
Resort (-/-/D)
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and transfer to Gokarna Forest Resort by our representative. Dinner & Overnight. Day 2: Kathmandu – Gokarna Forest Resort (B/-/D) Early morning after breakfast, start first round of 18 holes at Gokarna Forest Resort Golf Club, a 6,715 yard magical par 72 golf course. Non golfers can relax, enjoy indoor swimming, steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, Gymnasium and can also take yoga class which held every morning from 7:30 am – 8:30 am by professional yoga experts. They can also do sightseeing at Bouddanath Stupa- World’s Larget Stupa nearby Gokarna Resort or walk around the forest to see deer and other wild life. In the evening (around 6 pm) drive to Bhojan Griha or Nepali Chulo (Nepali Kitchen) for typical Nepali Dinner with live folk music and dances. Day 3: Kathmandu- Gokarna Forest Resort (B/L/D) After breakfast, transfer to 18 holes Army Golf Club for 18 holes at the oldest golf club of Kathmandu nearby the international airport. Non golfers can take the optional Mountain flight of one hour. Lunch at the local restaurant. Evening is followed by sightseeing at Kathmandu Durbar Square- UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal, you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence, Kasthamandap - the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square with it's array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty. Return to Gokarna Resort, Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Kathmandu- Gokarna Forest Resort (B/-/D) Early morning start third round of Golf course at Gokarna. Non Golfers can enjoy half day sightseeing at Swayambhunath (a monkey temple), Patan and Pashupati Temple. Swayambhunath: Located approximately 4 km/2.5 miles, this Buddhist stupa this is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Patan: 5km/3miles away from Kathmandu city. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection, the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar and Mahaboudha Temple. Pashupatinath: Situated 5 kilometers east of Kathmandu city, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple built in pagoda style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of River Bagmati, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pasupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri, which falls in the month of February/March. Dinner & Overnight. Day 5: Kathmandu – Pokhara – Fulbari Resort & Spa (B/-/D) After breakfast, fly to Pokhara and transfer to Fulbari Resort & Spa. Pokhara Valley: The rare combination of snow clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the valley of Pokhara (210 km/131 miles from Kathmandu) one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the kingdom. A must see for all visitors to Pokhara valley is the Phewa Lake. A half day excursion of the Pokhara Valley consists of a visit to the old city, new market, the cap factory and the Seti gorge. For people with more time in hand can visit the Begnas and Rupa Tal or take a 3 hours hike to Sarankot or Hyangia. Enjoy and Relax at the resort. Dinner & Overnight. Day 6: Pokhara – Fulbari Resort & Spa (B/-/D) Early morning round of golf at Yeti’s 9 holes at Fulbari Resort. Non golfers can do sightseeing in Pokhara city surrounded by a lake and the beautiful chain of mountains; Gupteshower Cave, Davi’s Fall, Peace Stupa etc. Dinner & Overnight. Day 7: Pokhara – Fulbari Resort & Spa (B/-/-) Early morning round of golf at Fulbari Resort. Non golfer’s can enjoy micro light/ paragliding and boating at Phewa Lake. Dinner at lake side restaurant and return hotel. Day 8: Pokhara – Kathmandu - Nagarkot- Club Himalaya (B/-/D) Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is famous for its view of the beautiful sunrises and spectacular long chain of mountains. Dinner & Overnight. Day 9: Nagarkot – Kathmandu - Dwarika (-/L/D) After breakfast, drive 45 minutes back to Kathmandu. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square – UNESCO World Heritage Site en route and then transfer to Dwarika Hotel. This hotel provides a unique lunch and dinner that starts from 6 courses and goes up to 22 courses! Bhadgaon: Also known as Bhaktapur meaning the city of devotees, this is the home of medieval art and architecture. Lying 14 km/9 miles east of Kathmandu City, it was founded in the 9th century and is shaped like a conch shell. The city is at the height of 4600 ft. above see level. In Bhadgaon you will visit the Durbar Square with it's array of temples overlooked by the palace of 55 windows built by King Bhupatindra Malla. The Nyatapola Temple also built by King Bhupatindra Mall, is the best of example of Pagoda style and stands of five terraces on each of which stands a pair of figures two famous strong men, two elephants, two lion two griffins and two goddesses. Time permitting, a visit to the museum of Thanka painting can also be considered. Day 10: Departure: After breakfast drive to airport for your departure.
