Chiang
Mai, the capital of the north where you stay for
4 nights. Rest of the day free to explore this
ancient city, take a walk around the old city
wall and visit some wonderful temples and
buildings. |

Mai Highlands Golf & Spa. A recent edition to
the excellent golfing scene in Chiang Mai, it
has quickly earned a reputation for the quality
and on-course scenery! |

various hill-tribes; Doi Suthep - the mountain
overlooking the city with a Royal temple or,
shopping in the many small boutiques, antique

Situated in the Mae Jo University compound,
Thailand's oldest agricultural seat of learning,

Leaving by road,
over the Sarasin bridge, we begin our journey
"Up-the-Elephants-Trunk". Passing through the
awe-inspiring limestone outcrops, there is an
optional 18 holes available at the
Ratchaprapa
Dam course. By late afternoon you are checked
into the Tusita Haven on the almost totally
deserted Arunothai beach in Chumpon province, a
million miles from anywhere...! |
