Day 01 Kathmandu – Le Meridien Hotel |
|
Arrive in Kathmandu. On arrival you will be met
and transferred to Le Meridien Hotel.
Set amidst majestic forests and the stunning
backdrop of the Himalayan snow-capped peaks,
Le Méridien Kathmandu Gokarna Forest Golf Resort
and Spa is a striking complement to its
vibrant surroundings. Traditionally the private
Royal hunting grounds of the Kings of Nepal, the
temperate forests of medieval Kathmandu have
been preserved here for over 500 years.
The hotel provides breathtaking panoramas of the
forest and surrounding mountains.
In addition to the 18
hole golf course the hotel also features a
Harmony Spa and an indoor pool.
|
|
A multitude of local holy places await discovery
within the enchanting Gokarna forest, and guests
often embark on secluded picnics, jungle walks,
or bird watching excursions. Just outside the
city centre, the hotel also provides easy access
to fashionable shopping districts and the major
businesses of Kathmandu.

championship 72 par 18 hole layout in a
classical setting of forested national park.
Golfers will be amazed by the resort's
outstanding golf course. Set against the
backdrop of the snow capped Himalayas; the golf
course was designed by Gleneagles Golf
Developments and boasts the only Bent Grass
Greens in South Asia making it one of the
highlights of the professional circuits in the
region. |
|
Non golfers can relax, enjoy the Spa, swimming
pool and surrounds of the forest. A leisurely
walk can also be arranged, as well as an
optional afternoon visit to the spectacular Bhoudanath Stupa.

|
Day 5 Pokhara – Fulbari Resort and Spa |
|
Early morning round on the short but exciting
and demanding 9 hole “Yeti's” Golf course at the
resort. Some of the tee shots over the Seti
River gorge will never be forgotten!.
The Fulbari Resort & Spa is the only property
in Pohkara to have its own golf course,
- The
Yeti Course.
A 9 Hole Executive
Golf Course, designed to be Nepal’s most iconic
and unique course that challenges not only
amateurs but even pros. Overlooking the Seti
River gorge, players not only have to navigate
the usual water hazards and sand traps, but also
the 300 ft. gorges that intersect some holes...!
|
|
Let's go 'round twice... It's quite difficult because of the deliberate
small greens, narrow fairways and closed out-of
bound (O/B) fenced with surrounding water ponds.
The location is
spectacular and a number of the tee shots across
the Seti Gorge will mentally challenge even
the very best golfer. An air of tranquillity,
the views of the Himalayas to the north, and the Seti River far below
are stunning and by the 19th
hole you really will have earned some
refreshment!
Return from golf, relax at
the hotel or head down to Lakeside for lunch and
take a boat trip across the Phewa lake and then
a hike up to the Japanese Peace Pagoda stupa in
the afternoon (note: a vehicle may also be taken
up to the Pagoda).

Return to the hotel and dinner at the Resort ~ |

 |
Day 6 Pokhara – Kathmandu - Dwarika's
Hotel |
|
Non golfers can take an early morning trip to
Sarangkot for spectacular mountain views and
possible options of hang gliding or an exciting
Micro flight!
Golfers can head off to the experience of a
lifetime. To play the super scenic Himalayan
course. A camera is equally as important as a
set of golf clubs and lots of spare balls.!!!
After lunch take the afternoon flight back to
Kathmandu. |
 |
|
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to
the award winning Dwarika’s Hotel, located only 5
minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the
tourist district of Thamel.
This Heritage style Hotel is beautifully
designed with traditional Nepalese carvings and
offers superb service and accommodation.
In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at their
famous Krishnarpan Restaurant.
