Inspired by Charles Telfair it was here at their
private estate, Bel Ombre, that the Golf and Spa Resort,
named in their honour, was built on 15 acres of the
Estate, a few years ago. Their original home Le Chateau
de Bel Ombre has been lovingly restored and now offers
hotel guests luxurious accommodation and fine dining
experiences.
Carefully arranged colonial style hotel buildings blend
unobtrusively into their natural surroundings and evoke
a time of grace and elegance. Telfairs' discoveries of
indigenous flora abound as do the original watercolour
paintings by his wife Annabella. |
