Let's start
with the Thai Country Club. Venue of the Asian Honda
Classic (won by a certain Mr. Woods) the Johnnie Walker
Super tour (Vijay Singh) and twice for the Volvo Masters
Asia, this Denis Griffiths layout is aesthetically
beautiful and a real test of your golfing abilities!
Small plaques dotted around the course mark spots where
the famous have played some miraculous shots, inviting
you to try and emulate them. The clubhouse facilities
are also world standard with luxurious locker rooms and
an elegant dining area, overlooking the course. |

One of
the latest additions to the golfing scene is Best Ocean,
the only "Links-Style" course in Bangkok. Only a 40
minute transfer from downtown, it's not for the
faint-hearted as narrow, sloping fairways, plenty of
water and well-placed bunkers make for a tough round!

A more leisurely and
golfer-friendly club I personally enjoy playing is The
Vintage. It's flat with generous fairways and the mature
trees create a peaceful, parkland atmosphere that's
perfect for the average golfer looking to enjoy their
day and shoot a decent score.
