The Cambodia Golf & Country Club
is located 35km west of Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s charming capital
city, and was the second 18 hole golf course to open in the
country back in 1996. The 7,000+ yard course is in a pleasant rural
setting surrounded by palm trees, native fruit trees, evergreen
plants and beautiful flowers, with a sprinkling of rocks and a
backdrop of distant mountains, it is a delightful location. The
course is relatively challenging with a large number of bunkers
to keep you alert. Not of the same quality as the Siem Reap
courses but playing a round here gives you an insight into the
development of golf in less developed countries.
